The Silicon Valley zone held its speech competition as part of the International Sikh Youth Symposium 2008 on June 14, 2008 at Sikh Gurdwara San Jose. The winners from the centers at Khalsa School San Jose, Sikh Gurdwara Lodi, and International Institute of Gurmat Studies (IIGS) participated.
